The GYS G1 Arm (100 mm × 160 mm) is not simply another accessory—it is the standard arm for everyday structural repair. Included as factory equipment with GYSPOT PTI Genius, NEO, Master, and Expert units, as well as compatible Chief MI300T and MI300i spot welders, its balanced geometry handles many of the repairs technicians encounter every day. It is, quite literally, the arm most machines are put away with at the end of the shift.

When to Maintain—and When to Replace
Because the G1 sees more use than almost any other arm in the shop, it also absorbs the greatest amount of day-to-day wear. Water lines, fittings, electrode holders, insulation, and threaded connections can all be serviced individually. However, once repeated repairs and downtime begin to outweigh the value of continued maintenance, replacing the complete arm restores the assembly’s cooling path, electrical contact surfaces, and overall mechanical condition.
