Self-piercing and flow-form riveting is how OEMs join aluminum and mixed-material panels, and collision repair procedures call for it more every year. This category holds what keeps rivet guns working: forming and removal dies, punches, C-arms and extension arms, calibration dies, blind rivet adapters, pressure gauges, O-rings and pins.
We stock parts for three gun families: the GYS GYSPRESS 8T and 10T riveters, the Hand Cannon SPR-5 and SPR-5-DFC cordless guns, and the CMO RV.700 and RV.EP.02. We also carry ITS calibration dies and inserts that are compatible with the Pro Spot PR-10, PR-5D and PR-8D. The rivets themselves are in Self-piercing rivets.
Start with the gun
Dies and arms are not interchangeable between brands. Every listing says which gun it fits.
Match the die to the rivet
3 mm and 5 mm rivets use different forming and removal dies. Check the repair procedure for the rivet size, then pick the die set for that size.
Reach
Extension arms and deep C-arms (130 mm, 220 mm, 240 mm) get the gun into rocker, roof and pillar joints that a standard arm can't reach.
Keep the wear parts on hand
Punches, collars, pins and O-rings are cheap. They're also what stops a repair halfway through if you run out.
Can one gun do both self-piercing and blind rivets?
Some can, with an adapter. The GYS 10T and the Hand Cannon each have a blind rivet adapter listed here.
What's the difference between post-style and threaded dies?
It's how the die mounts in the gun. Hand Cannon offers both, so match the style your gun's die holder uses.
