Buying guide: how to pick the right one, plus common questions Open ▾
Collision damage to the front of a car often means the A/C system has to be recovered, repaired and recharged before delivery. TEXA Konfort stations handle recovery, vacuum and recharge automatically, and TEXA forming-gas leak detectors help track down small leaks.
We carry the Konfort 750R (R134a), the Konfort 760 Touch (R1234yf, USA version) and the Konfort 780 Touch dual-gas station for both refrigerants. We also stock their maintenance kits (filters, O-rings and oil), extension hoses, the thermal printer, and the TTF 700 and H2 forming-gas leak detectors.
Which refrigerant?
Older cars use R134a and most newer ones use R1234yf. A dual-gas station like the 780 Touch covers both.
Maintenance
Change the filters and oil on schedule with the matching Konfort kit to keep recovery accurate.
Leak detection
Forming gas (hydrogen and nitrogen) finds small leaks quickly, on R134a, R1234yf and R744 (CO2) systems.
Do I need separate machines for R134a and R1234yf?
Not with a dual-gas station like the Konfort 780 Touch. Single-gas stations handle one refrigerant each.
What's in the maintenance kit?
Filters, O-rings and oil for the specific Konfort model.
Can it print a service report?
Yes, with the TEXA thermal printer for the Konfort series.
