Riveting and Repair Applications
The CH-SPR-5 supports a wide range of collision repair riveting, removal, forming, and panel-preparation operations. Always use the correct die configuration, pressure setting, arm, and current OEM repair procedure.

Self-Piercing Rivets
Supports controlled SPR installation where the repair procedure calls for panel fastening without conventional pre-drilling.

Solid Rivets
Install supported solid rivets using the proper punch, die, pressure setting, material stack, and repair procedure.

Rivet Removal
Supports controlled rivet removal using the correct male and female die combination for the rivet and repair area.

Flow-Form Rivets
Supports flow-form and countersunk FFR rivet applications when paired with the correct dies and repair specifications.

Calibrating Punch
Supports calibrating punch and panel-hole preparation work using the correct matched punch-and-die configuration.

Flattening
Matched flattening dies can be used to prepare or flatten supported panel areas as required by the repair process.

Optional Arm Upgrades
The CH-SPR-5 includes the standard SPR-40 arm. Optional extension arms are available for shops requiring additional reach around deeper structures, pillars, rails, and difficult access points.
Standard die support for real collision repair work.
The standard die kit supports self-piercing rivets, solid rivets, flattening, flow-form rivets, rivet removal, and punching applications. Always match the die set, pressure setting, arm configuration, and rivet to the current OEM repair procedure.
Operation & Pressure Control
The CH-SPR-5 uses a manual pressure adjustment knob and pressure release button, giving technicians direct control while keeping the tool compact and straightforward to operate.
Manual Pressure Adjustment
Adjust operating pressure according to the material, thickness, die set, rivet, and repair requirement.
Pressure Release Button
The pressure-release button resets the extension bar and releases pressure when required during operation, adjustment, or setup.
Quick Arm Connection
Remove the locking pin, slide the selected arm into place, and reinstall the pin for fast arm changes between repair operations.

Need digital force control?
The CH-SPR-5 is the standard cordless Hand Cannon riveting gun. Shops requiring a digital LCD screen, push-button pressure selection, real-time pressure display, LED work light, nine adjustable preset modes, computerized pressure protection, two included batteries, and up to 80 kN of force should compare it with the SPR-5-DFC.
Prefer a traditional 10-ton air-hydraulic rivet gun?
Some collision repair facilities prefer an air-over-hydraulic riveting system based on workflow, technician preference, existing compressed-air infrastructure, OEM requirements, or the need for higher clamping force.
CRTE also offers the GYS GYSPRESS 10T, providing up to 10 tons of riveting pressure with a complete professional kit and protective storage case.
