When to Maintain—and When to Replace
Much like the G4, the G5 is a fully structural arm designed to endure massive squeeze pressure. You can maintain it for years by replacing individual cooling lines, caps, and connection plates. The only reason to fully replace the G5 is if years of extreme structural pulling and extended-leverage use finally compromise its tip-to-tip alignment. Once the factory alignment warps, replacing the complete arm guarantees your machine can hold exact tolerances on deep panel welds.
