The Quick-Set C-Style Problem Solver
We will be the first to admit: the GYS G7 Arm intentionally trades peak squeeze pressure for unparalleled, lightning-fast accessibility. Operating at 150 daN, it is not designed for max-pressure structural pulls. Instead, technicians love the G7 because of its ingenious setup—there is absolutely nothing to screw in. It simply pushes against the main electrode, instantly transforming your standard setup into a highly maneuverable C-style (CX) arm. This allows the user to hold the heavy double-sided gun in a comfortable, natural position while letting the arm do the awkward reaching.
Applications & Compatibility
- Target Applications: Radiator supports, deep panel ridges, and difficult areas where two panels converge at awkward angles.
- Machine Fitment: Designed for GYSPOT PTI Genius, NEO, Master, Evolution, and OEM-approved systems including Chief MI300T / MI300i, BMW-approved PTI welders, and VAS systems.
- Geometry: C-style (CX) adapter geometry featuring ultra-thin, aggressively angled electrodes designed to slip into restrictive panel gaps.
Electrode Maintenance & Replacement
The secret to the G7's accessibility is its incredibly thin, angled electrodes. Because these specific tips are doing the heavy lifting in highly restricted, awkward areas, they are considered a high-wear consumable. To maintain the G7's signature "slip-in" clearance over panel ridges and radiator supports, these angled electrodes should be replaced frequently once the tips begin to blunt or arc out. CRTE Member Pricing may provide significant savings on replacement electrodes and complete assemblies.
