When to Maintain—and When to Replace
The G4 is a heavy-duty workhorse designed for longevity. You can maintain it almost indefinitely by swapping out cooling lines, caps, and connection plates. The only time you truly need to replace a G4 is if years of extreme structural pulls and heavy use finally cause it to lose tip-to-tip alignment. Once the structural geometry warps, a complete replacement is required to restore your machine's ability to hold factory tolerance.
