This is the IRWIN VISE-GRIP “The Original” 7" locking wrench, offered by CRTE as electrode pliers for spot-welding work. Its heavy-duty jaws lock onto three sides of a hex or a spot-weld cap/electrode and apply tremendous force without slipping or marring, so a tech can hold or seat a cap and keep both hands on the job. Adjustable across a 7/16"–3/4" range (replacing up to 16 wrench sizes), built from heat-treated alloy steel, with a classic trigger release and a built-in wire cutter.
