Diagnostics & ADAS2026 · Las VegasNovember 2026

What we saw at the TEXA booths at SEMA and AAPEX, and why we're going all-in on diagnostics.

Innovative CRTE has sold and supported TEXA diagnostics for years, mostly quietly, mostly to shops that already knew they needed it. That changes now.

TEXA had a booth in both buildings this year, SEMA and AAPEX, and we spent a long stretch at each. We came home with a plan: diagnostics and ADAS calibration at the front of what we do, not the back.

Here's what we saw and what it means for a collision shop in New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania.

The new Vision Check ADAS system is worth waiting for

The piece everyone at the booth was standing around was TEXA's new Vision Check ADAS calibration system. It's a real step up from the current unit, and the improvements are the kind a technician notices on the second car, not the kind that only show up on a spec sheet: faster to set up, easier to get square, and it handles yaw, the vehicle's rotation about its vertical axis, as part of the setup. If you've ever chased a camera calibration that passed on the tool and came back a week later, you know why that matters.

The honest part: it ships in early 2027, and we'll be selling it the day it does. If you're planning an ADAS purchase for the new year, this is the one to wait for, and we'll tell you the same thing on the phone. Full specs and a demo schedule go on the store as soon as TEXA releases them.

Why ADAS calibration is the collision shop's job now

Nearly every car that comes through a body shop today has a forward camera, radar or both, and nearly every OEM procedure for a bumper, windshield, quarter or structural repair ends with a calibration step. Sublet it and you're paying someone else, waiting on their schedule and putting your name on their work. Do it in-house and the calibration becomes a line on your estimate that you control, with the documentation to back it up.

That's the upgrade path we're building around: a shop that already owns a bench and a measuring system is most of the way to doing ADAS correctly. Vision Check is the rest of the way.

Coverage is growing where it counts

The other story at the booth was coverage. TEXA has always been strong in off-highway, bike and marine, and that keeps growing. What we wanted to see, and saw, is the expansion in passenger car and supercar coverage for both diagnostics and ADAS.

Car & supercarExpanded diagnostics and ADAS coverage, right where a collision shop lives
Truck, off-highwayThe fleet and heavy side TEXA built its name on
Bike & marineStill growing, still one IDC6 platform

For a collision shop that means pre- and post-repair scans, module coding after a part swap, and the calibration routines themselves, across more of the cars that actually come through your door, on one IDC6 platform with one subscription. We carry the IDC6 line and handle renewals, so when your subscription comes due you call us, not a phone tree.

Already a TEXA shop? Your IDC6 renewal, Konfort service and the Vision Check upgrade all come through us. One call covers the three.

Demos and training in Edison, NJ

This is the part we're most excited about. TEXA USA's headquarters is in Edison, New Jersey, and TEXA will be running in-house demos and training there. For us and for our customers that's a short drive, not a flight, and we intend to take full advantage of it: hands-on time on the equipment before you buy, and training from the people who built the software after. Details on dates and format are coming; if you want on the list, tell us now.

What we carry today

Vision Check is the headline, but the TEXA line we sell, support and train on right now covers most of what rolls into a shop. Click through for the packages.

Where this goes

Over the next few months you'll see a lot more from us on diagnostics: Vision Check, IDC6, the Konfort A/C service line and forming gas leak detection, and the training to go with them. It all lives on the store, where you can see current pricing as a signed-in member and build a package the same way you can with our welding equipment.

If you've been meaning to bring ADAS calibration in-house and haven't, talk to us now so your plan lines up with the Vision Check release. Whenever diagnostics come up on your list, we can quote the system, the training and the financing in one conversation.

Get on the Vision Check list.

Tell us what you're calibrating today and we'll keep you posted on Vision Check availability, Edison demo dates and training. If you need diagnostics sooner, we'll quote IDC6 and the current ADAS system now.
