This liner guides thin aluminum MIG wire from the drive rolls through the torch cable to the contact tip. The Teflon/brass build is made for soft aluminum wire, which a plain steel liner will scuff and jam. Sized for 0.6/0.8 mm wire and color-coded blue to keep it separate from the heavier 1.0/1.2 mm red liner on the shelf. Because thinner wire is more prone to birdnesting when the liner wears, this is one of the first parts to swap when aluminum feed gets inconsistent.
