The AM42 is TEXA's adapter cable for Steyr SE model engines. A tech reaches for it when a Steyr SE unit needs to be read in IDC5 MARINE and the standard Steyr connection does not fit. It runs between the engine and your TEXA interface, powered through the Marine supply kit, so faults, live data and service functions come up on the tablet the normal way.
