The AM01 is the backbone of the TEXA marine cable system. It runs from your Navigator interface to the engine-specific adapter cable, carrying power and the diagnostic signal. Every marine cable marked with an asterisk in the TEXA catalog needs it in the chain — Honda, Mercury, Yamaha, Volvo Penta KAD-TAMD, Steyr, Evinrude, MEFI, Yanmar, Suzuki and D-Tronic among them. With it in place, IDC5 MARINE reads faults, live data and service functions on those engines.
