The AM27 is TEXA's cable for MerCruiser and VM marine engines running D-Tronic engine management. It plugs into the 3902358 marine main cable (AM01), and from there IDC5 MARINE reads the D-Tronic controller for faults, live data and service functions. VM engines without D-Tronic, along with Cummins MerCruiser Diesel and Kohler units, use the direct-connect AM24A cable instead.
