The AM44 is TEXA's direct-connect cable for Mercury marine engines. Connect it between the engine's diagnostic socket and your TEXA interface and IDC5 MARINE reads the controller for faults, live data and the available service functions. It connects directly, so no marine main cable is needed, and it powers through the Marine supply kit. Older Mercury and Mariner Group engines with 2-pin or 4-pin connectors use the AM04 and AM05 cables with the AM01 main cable.
