The AM28 is TEXA's dedicated cable for MTU marine engines running the MDEC control system. Connect it between the engine's diagnostic socket and your TEXA interface and IDC5 MARINE reads the MDEC controller for faults, live data and service functions. It connects directly and powers through the Marine supply kit. MTU engines with ADEC control or Mercedes-based MTU units use their own TEXA cables.
