The AM40 is the Volvo Penta cable in TEXA's marine range. It puts IDC5 MARINE on the engine's diagnostic connector so you can read fault codes, watch live engine data and carry out the service routines Volvo Penta engines call for — without a factory-only tool. Older Volvo Penta KAD/TAMD engines use the AM09 cable; the EGC/EVC 8-pin rectangular connector uses the AM18.
