The AM33 is TEXA's cable for Yanmar marine engines that communicate over CAN. Because it is a CAN cable, it plugs into the 3903008 Marine CAN main cable (AM01 CAN) rather than the standard AM01. With that chain in place IDC5 MARINE reads the engine controller for faults, live data and service functions. Yanmar engines on the older serial connection use the AM15 with the AM01 main cable instead.
