This Pro Spot i4s (serial i4s-2125) came to us as a trade-in in working order and has been through our full reconditioning process — inspected, serviced, cleaned, and weld-tested by CRTE technicians before listing. We don't distribute the i4s new; we take them in on trade, recondition them, and stand behind them.
The i4s is Pro Spot's smart inverter resistance spot welder — the i4 platform taken digital. Its adaptive auto-weld mode reads the material in real time, monitoring and adjusting weld energy thousands of times per second against thickness, composition, and resistance, so a tech gets a consistent weld on boron and advanced high-strength steels without babysitting parameters. The gun itself carries a display — live weld feedback and fingertip controls right at the workpiece — and the high-pressure gun is standard equipment on this model. Arms are water-cooled through full 360-degree rotation.
It's also a connected machine: WiFi software updates, onboard training videos and repair-procedure content, weld-log export by email, and work-order assignment per technician — the documentation features DRP and OEM-certified shops increasingly want on paper. Single-sided work runs from a library of 60+ preset programs covering stitch welding, nail welding, carbon shrinking, and dent pulling. As a used buy it carries the same virtues as the i4 — simple consumables, arms that hold their value — with the paper trail built in.
