This post-style die mounts in the die holder on the Hand Cannon SPR-5 and SPR-5-DFC self-piercing rivet guns and is used to remove a bad or misfired 3mm rivet. The female bore centers on the rivet head so the tech can back it out cleanly instead of drilling or grinding it free. Because removal dies take direct load and abrasion on every pull, they wear faster than most tooling on the gun.
